The UK Ophthalmic pharmacy group is a free to join network for all pharmacy team members who specialise or have an interest in ophthalmic pharmacy. We are here to support each other with ophthalmic queries via our forum and strive to promote eye health and the work of pharmacy teams in ophthalmology nationally.

The group hold an in person meeting annually and also meet virtually every quarter to discuss current events in ophthalmology and matters affecting ophthalmic pharmacy. We aim to promote the work of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in ophthalmology and raise the profile by engaging in collaborative work and creating links with relevant specialist groups. We welcome all members from across the pharmacy spectrum to join and enrich the group with their experience. 

The group has an online platform on  NHS futures where new members can join the platform for free and search for UKOPG and request to join. Futures – Futures 

 The group has members from all across the UK and Ireland where the group provides a lifeline to colleagues who are often working in isolation in this very complex and niche specialty.
